Low-Dimensionality Materials (MBD)
Leader : Catherine JOURNET GAUTIER
The team Low-Dimensionality Materials (MBD) main research axis are: (1) structuration of interfaces during synthesis, (2) physical-chemistry properties of materials, and (3) modeling of processes and properties.
1. Synthesis of micro- and nanostructures
- 2D Materials (h-BN in collaboration with CIMP team, borophene in collaboration with the team COM).
- Materials produced by electrospinning (collaboration with Teams BIO, and CIMP)
2. Properties of interfaces
- wetting and electrowetting (in collaboration with the shared laboratory ASCI)
- Optical properties: thermochromic, surface plasmons, photo-electrochemistry
3. Modeling processes and properties (structural, optics, mechanical, adsorption)
